As a self-funding charity, our shops play a vital role in sustaining the work we do contributing around 60% of our total income. Recently, however, we’ve seen a decline in both the quality and quantity of donations, which has directly affected our ability to raise the funds we need. Alongside this, the recent National Insurance increase has also added pressure to our finances.

We are reaching out to kindly ask for support through donations. We gratefully accept most items, with the exception of beds, mattresses, fur coats, and white goods. All other donations including furniture are very much appreciated and make a real difference.

Every item donated helps us continue our work, and we are truly thankful for the generosity of our community.

Audience: Local businesses, community leaders, and supporters coming together for a brilliant night of fun and fundraising

Funds raised will directly support our work with people experiencing homelessness across Worcestershire — including hot meals, outreach, clean clothing, and life-changing support services.

We’re looking for local businesses to get involved by:
– Sponsoring a round or the full event (£250 to cosponsor)
– Donating raffle prizes
– Entering a team and helping spread the word

Our first community garden in Ross-on-Wye is a three-acre site with raised beds, growing tunnels, green woodworking area, a meadow and a kitchen where we can support people to prepare the food that we grow. We currently provide 1600 hours of support to 50+ adults and over 1000 children a year, with the help of over 100 volunteers. We are building on this success by developing a new community project in Ledbury, Herefordshire, where we have an active gardening group and a new site in development.

We are looking for like-minded businesses to partner with us so that we can offer our therapeutic environments to those who don’t currently have access to a safe, calm place of nature. We would welcome donations of funds, materials, advice or volunteer time, towards our new project in the Ledbury area and our existing garden in Ross-on-Wye.
