Introduction
I’ll be honest with you – when I first heard about Dubai Expo 2020, I had no idea what it was. It turns out it’s a pretty massive event – the largest globally. Every few years, an Expo is a sort of international trade show where businesses and countries from all over come to show off their latest technology, products, and services.
Naturally, when Dubai won the bid to host Expo 2020, they went all out. The preparatory process has been underway for years now, and it’s starting to take shape. Please keep reading to learn more about it if you haven’t already seen it.
The Tickets
If you are a single person like me, you could get a one-person Expo ticket at 95AED, which was a decent amount, in my opinion. Similarly, there were other ticket packages available at 1750AED.
Most Beautiful Pavilions in Expo 2020
There is no better way to commemorate the fantastic Expo 2020 Dubai than with a list of favorite pieces. The event was attended by more than 190 countries around Earth, showcasing their cutting-edge technologies and architectures across 1083 acres – which I have decided will be documented in this article for all readers who want an inside look!
The UAE Pavilion
The UAE Pavilion at Expo 2020 was a stunning example of what the country can do when it puts its mind to something.
Different pieces were located on different levels while maintaining security and privacy, from shard glass windows that give you a fantastic view no matter where in this vast complex or how far away from each other.
The structure has been designed so that visitors can walk around without feeling like their surroundings are trying too hard to look.
The UK Pavilion
Imagine you were given a chance to describe Earth in just three words. The pavilion design was inspired by Stephen Hawking’s final project, “Breakthrough Message.” Lastly, this pavilion tried to showcase the planet earth more beautiful way.
The Germany Pavilion
Where else can you go to learn about the wonders of nature and have fun at once? Germany Pavilion was another excellent place for kids who love exploring. The concept behind this pavilion is based on campus-like settings with interactive exhibits that will inspire creativity in young minds while they’re here!
Other Honorable Mentions
When I visited Expo 2020, it was a masterpiece laid on a vast piece of land. Hundreds of outstanding pavilions showcased their latest business models, technology, and innovative approaches. Furthermore, they displayed their home culture and their way of life. Other most beautiful pavilions in the Dubai Expo 2020 were:
• AL- Wasal Plaza (the primary landmark of the Expo)
• China Pavilion.
• Pakistan Pavilion.
• Japan Pavilion.
• Saudi Arabia Pavilion.
• Morroco Pavilion.
Impact of COVID
Did you know that the Expo was supposed to be held from October 2020 to April 2021, but due to the arrival of the pandemic, it shifted from October 2021 to March 2022. So, like all other sectors worldwide, the Expo also endured its fair share of the impact.
Conclusion:
So, what do you think? I’ve shared my experience of Dubai Expo 2020 with you – was it everything you expected? I have to say that even though there were some low points (the long queues and the COVID impact), it was a fantastic event.
The pavilions were beautiful and excellent food, and I learned about many different cultures. Let me know if you went to Expo 2020 – I would love to hear your thoughts!
